Fast drying and nearly imperceptible on the skin, the Feel Confident Scar Gel helps smooth and soften the appearance of scars as they heal.

Originally formulated for the face, our Scar Gel can be used on the body as well to help surgical scars, cosmetic surgery scars, skin trauma, and burn wounds heal better.

How To Use

Using the included pump, dispense a small amount of product and apply a thin layer twice a day (AM & PM) over the scar area. Use it for up to 12 months while your scar matures. For fresh wounds, confirm there is no fizzing with 3% hydrogen peroxide prior to starting the Scar Gel. Only start the Scar Gel after fizzing ceases.

Medical Grade Silicone: Our silicone base helps protect healing scars by keeping things moist. Silicone replicates the occlusive properties of the stratum corneum, helping normalize the moisture level of the scar to that of the surrounding skin. This is an important step in minimizing the appearance of scars by preventing the synthesis of excess collagen.

Sunflower Seed Oil: Sunflower seed oil is anti-inflammatory and has high levels of the antioxidant, vitamin E, which promotes wound healing. The high content of linoleic and oleic acids also is thought to help wounds heal faster by encouraging the formation of collagen and elastin.

Jojoba Oil: Jojoba oil is thought to accelerate wound healing by stimulating collagen synthesis. High in vitamin E and a complement of fatty acids, including oleic acid, it’s a well-known and beneficial oil for irritated and damaged skin.

Calendula Flower Extract: Calendula oil is rich in flavonoids, which may help promote wound healing and decrease inflammation. Calendula extract also has some antiviral and antibacterial properties and can help decrease inflammation. Traditionally, calendula extract has been used to address poorly healing wounds.

Can I apply make-up over the Scar Gel?

Yes, make-up can be applied as normal over the Scar Gel once it has dried. Our matte finish allows for an easier application of make-up compared to many other commercially available scar gel products.
